Took the wine tour this past Saturday touring both Washington and Frederick county locations. Must say even not being a wine drinker I really enjoyed myself visiting the many place we visited during the day. Hats off to the the miles family for providing an interesting well planned day and looking forward to traveling with them again in the future when something is offered that I think we will enjoy.
Good luck as you move forward with your tour business and Gods speed.
We used your RoadRunner Services on Saturday night to transport people from our wedding (@Green Grove Gardens) to the Hampton Inn. Burma was so kind and considerate, that I just had to let you know! From my first contact with her on the phone months ago, right up until Sunday Morning when she drove 45 minutes out of her way to return a set of keys that one of my guests had left in her vehicle, Burma was professional, kind and simply a pleasure to work with! She was at the venue when she said that she would be, patiently waited for her passengers and then did another run, not minding that we used the vehicle to transport lots of flowers (which I am sure caused her a mess!). Should the need arise, I would use your company in the future and highly recommend you!
Myself and my sister travelled to the United States from Ireland in April 2013. We were staying in Washington DC but wanted to travel to Boonsboro
for a Nora Roberts book signing. I sourced Roadrunner Services through the
Haegerstown Airport Website, and it was the perfect choice. I dealt with Burma
via email and had a clear picture of what to expect when we got to the
US. The service we received was extremely professional but also very
personal as Burma made us very welcome from the minute we stepped into her
car. And what a car it was, large, comfortable and very clean. Burma made
us feel like one of the family and we comfortably chatted for the journey as
Burma also gave us a history of the areas we were travelling through. She
is a talented tour guide with a wonderful knowledge of the area. As Burma
drove us back to DC, we looked for recommendations for a shopping mall.
Burma waited for us to check back into our hotel, and then dropped us at the
Pentagon City Mall. My children send their thanks - they scored on
the presents front due to that shopping trip. I am highly recommending
Roadrunner Services and Burma Miles for their professional yet very personal service. I wish them well with their new ventures.
RAY AND BARB TREANOR
We could not have had a better experience. We could not believe the wealth of knowledge the park ranger had about the battles and the terrain of the land. It made the whole scene come alive. The pick up and return service to our hotel was an absolute plus. It gave my husband (driver) a chance to enjoy the day as well. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone who wants to know all there is to know about The Battle of Antietam. It was a pleasure meeting you and your husband and the level of communication was outstanding. Best wishes to you and yours.
My daughter was getting married and the hotel where out of town guests were staying recommended Roadrunners to us for shuttle service from the hotel to the church then to the reception and back to the hotel after the reception. From my first contact with Mrs. Miles she was extremely friendly and ready to extend to us any service that was needed. We kept in contact and each and every time I received the same outstanding service. The wedding day was extremely hot and humid and after talking to Mrs. Miles that morning she assured me that they understood our circumstances and we could call at any time and make any changes that were needed to accommodate our guests. I would definitely use their services again and would not hesitate to recommend them to any friends. Our guests gave them the highest compliments even pointing out landmarks and interesting facts from the area on their trips back and forth. It is an honor to have such a wonderful business in our community.
SUE AND BILL
First let me say what a pleasure it was to meet you. We really enjoyed your company! The tour of Antietam with Jim was excellent; his knowledge of military strategy is formidable. I would say my favorite part was learning the personal stories of the officers and men and also the farmers who lived there. I had never thought about their predicament before. It's hard to reconcile the beauty of Bloody Lane and Burnside Bridge with the carnage that took place there, Bill and I could have stayed at the bridge all day, it was so tranquil. You made our trip to Hagerstown and Antietam one of the best parts of our vacation.
As the Assistant Project Coordinator for Easter Seals Project LINC program, I assist many individuals in establishing the services that they need such as, housekeeping, case management, adult day services, and much more. Many of these individuals are faced with the challenges of cognitive impairments or are dealing with a mental health concern. It is so nice to work with Burma because she understands their challenges and works with them in a kind and patient manner.

Our clients do not feel rushed or hurried by Burma. Additionally, when working with a grant funded program, Burma understands the financial constraints thus, she always works in a timely fashion. As a professional, RoadRunner Services are indispensable to me.
I have known Burma for almost 25 years. She is extremely kind and trustworthy. I am a breast cancer patient and Burma has taken me many times to Johns Hopkins and Georgetown for medical tests and doctor visits. She also checks my house when I am away, brings in the mail and newspaper, waters plants and flowers, etc. She is at the top of my recommendation list!
Burma exceeded my expectations with the baby gift basket. I gave her a brief description of the new mom and was expecting something small. When Burma delivered the basket and gift card to me, I was taken back by the thought and time that she put into it. The gift certificate was the hit of the baby shower and the expecting mother said it was the greatest gift anyone could have ever offered her. Thanks Burma!!
In April I purchased a gift basket for my neighbors whom were expecting the arrival of a baby boy. This basket was adorable. It had items in it for a baby boy and a gift certificate for 2 hours of RoadRunner Services. Not only were my neighbors thrilled, my friend saw it sitting on my breakfast bar and informed me that she wanted to purchase a similar basket to give to her friend who is also expecting.
When I became a mother for the 2nd time in January, I was faced with exhaustion, an energetic 2 year old, and a house without groceries in the midst of record-breaking snowstorms. Needless to say, Burma's services were priceless to me. She always seemed to be available at a moment's notice, and with a smile on her face. It was as easy as emailing a grocery list, and having her show up at my door like a fairy godmother. It is obvious that efficiency is important to Burma; she knows she's on your watch, and moves quickly! I still rely on Burma and have happily passed her name on to many soon to be mommies!
After living in Virginia for 30 years, 10 years ago I decided to move to Maryland to be closer to my family. It was a difficult move and I soon discovered the most difficult part was to find reliable transportation. There were occasional drivers, but none were very dependable. Meeting Burma was like the answer to a prayer. Burma is an exceptionally reliable person who is always at my door on the agreed time. She knows the area well including Baltimore & Washington D.C. She is a delightful and interesting person to be with!
